Dr. Jack Lewin Joins the Scientific Advisory Board of GATC Health Corp

GATC Health, an innovative technology company focused on whole genome testing and Predictive Multiomics™, today announced that Dr. Jack Lewin, has joined the company’s board of scientific advisors. As a well-respected expert in healthcare policy, innovation, business development and research, Dr. Lewin will be a key contributor to GATC Health’s advisory team, especially regarding strategy, policy, and regulatory matters.

Dr. Lewin serves as Chairman of the DC-based National Coalition on Health Care (NCHC), the oldest and largest health policy organization in Washington which advises Congress, the Administration, and the health sector on current health policy and innovation. NCHC’s members include AARP, AFL-CIO, CalPERS and other business and professional coalitions and associations representing over 150 million Americans. Dr. Lewin also serves on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s COVID PREPT Task Force, and on various scientific advisory boards. He has advised two U.S. Presidents and was named as one of Modern Healthcare's “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.”

John C. (Jack) Lewin, MD was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), CEO of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), CEO of the California Medical Association (CMA), Hawaii's Director of Health and, as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service, was the founder and first Director of the Navajo Nation Department of Health.

Dr. Lewin is a recipient of the AMA’s Nathan Davis Award, the American Hospital Association’s Justin Ford Kimball Award, and USPHS Commissioned Officer Association’s Health Leader of the Year award. He received his BA in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and his MD and medical training at the University of Southern California. Dr. Lewin has run more than 20 marathons and is an active personal promoter of health, wellness, and disease prevention.
