GATC Health Presents at the Coastal Alabama Opioid Abatement Summit

IRVINE, CA, USA – October 11, 2024 – Tyrone Lam, GATC Health’s Chief Business Officer - joined esteemed speakers, including Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and Mobile, Alabama Mayor Sandy Stimpson, at the Innovation Portal for the Coastal Alabama Opioid Abatement Summit hosted by The Helios Alliance in Mobile, Alabama on October 10, 2024.

Speaking about innovations to help end the opioid epidemic, Lam offered panel viewers insight on GATC’s AI-based research findings and solutions to reverse the opioid epidemic including GATC’s non-opioid drug candidate to treat opioid use disorder. Overall, the panel addressed new programs and technologies that are under development that will have an impact on the epidemic in the years to come.

In addition to Lam, Terrance Smith, a Bloomberg Public Innovation Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, and Todd Greer, Ph.D., Executive Director of Innovation Portal, spoke on the topic.
