GATC Health, a technology company using advanced multiomic analysis and disruptive artificial intelligence to revolutionize disease detection and drug development, today announced that Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Wade Jost has joined the company’s board of advisors. LTC (R) Jost brings 35 years of experience in introducing and implementing new products and ideas to the United States Armed Forces. As a leader in process improvement, human capital and change management resulting from both rapid acquisition concepts and normal operating procedures, LTC (R) Jost will be instrumental in introducing GATC Health’s products into the branches of the U.S. Military, including Veterans Affairs.
LTC (R) Jost has extensive experience with various federal agencies requiring deep understanding of critical business drivers in multiple markets and industries. He successfully built relationships with upper-level decision makers, seizing control of critical problem areas, and delivering on customer commitments. LTC (R) Jost’s experience with synchronizing initiatives affecting DoD’s quick response capability for urgent non-standard needs has enabled him to develop a unique perspective on rapid acquisition concepts, providing oversight in the negotiation and administration of various Federal contracts.
“Wade Jost’s deep knowledge in U.S. military acquisition and logistics opens up new opportunities for our products,” noted Jeff Moses, President of GATC Health. “His passion for leveraging our technology and data to enhance the health of our active and retired armed forces is contagious.”
In partnership with warfighters worldwide, LTC (R) Jost identified emerging capability gaps; oversaw development of solutions within a timeframe relevant to current operations; and facilitated sharing of information with stakeholders to inform and accelerate the deliberate capability development and acquisition processes. He has engaged at senior executive levels throughout the U.S. Federal Government to enable inter-agency collaboration in planning, coordinating, and employing of capabilities. He is currently CEO of 640 Acres, LLC, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides technology enabled support services to the federal government and commercial customers.
“I am honored to work with GATC Health’s team to identify DoD and VA opportunities that benefit our active-duty personnel and Veterans,” said LTC (R) Jost. “The GATC technology provide a predictive capability for the military chain-of-command that will help maximize their abilities to minimize the adverse effects of a variety of potential medical issues our warfighters face on a daily basis.”
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Wade Jost is recognized as a leader for the introduction of rapid acquisition and operational energy organizational structure efforts that has since been emulated by numerous Federal Agencies. He founded and operated two successful Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) supporting various Federal agencies. He was instrumental in the early development of both the Army’s Rapid Equipping Force’s (REF) acquisition of war time requirements, as well as the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s (OSD) Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) technology evaluation and integration efforts simultaneously, a combined effort of over 100 personnel with an annual operating budget in excess of $1B. LTC (R) Jost engaged at highest executive levels in Federal Government to enable inter-agency collaboration in planning, coordinating, and employing of counter-improvised explosive devices (C-IED) products, tactics, techniques, and procedures and help develop the Rapid Acquisition Resourcing Strategy used by Army, OSD, and Congress to defend in the Government War On Terror (GWOT) efforts.
