Dr. Stanley Lewis Joins the Scientific Advisory Board of GATC Health Corp

GATC Health, an innovative technology company focused on whole genome testing and Predictive Multiomics™, today announced that Dr. Stanley Lewis, has joined the company’s board of scientific advisors. With executive management experience in biotechnology, drug development and clinical trials, Dr. Lewis brings 25 years of leadership in biotechnology and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical companies’ target identification and drug design requirements, including designing and conducting Phase 1- 4 clinical trials. Dr. Lewis is committed to innovation and led a clinical development program through FDA approval of the first, host-directed, biologic antiretroviral.  In addition to drug development, Dr. Lewis has also practiced internal medicine in both public and private settings. Dr. Lewis will be a key contributor to GATC Health’s product design, regulatory approval processes, and business development. Dr. Lewis’ broad experience in product development will also help guide GATC Health’s business development and marketing teams to capitalize on commercial opportunities.

Stanley Lewis, MD, MPH is a Founder and the CEO of A28 Therapeutics. a company specializing in development of lytic protein technology for treatment of cancer.  Dr. Lewis is also Founder of Eselle Health, Inc., a company developing technology to treat complications of diabetes and other metabolic disorders.  Previously, Dr. Lewis held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Ansun Biopharma, TaiMed Biologics, Diabetes Relief, and the St. Hope Foundation.  Dr. Lewis was also the Director of Drug Development at Tanox and Medical Director with Genentech Inc./Tanox. Prior to his career in biotechnology, Dr. Lewis was Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the McGovern Medical School, University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston Texas.
